Over the summer my friend group from home took a trip to North Carolina. It was such a great experience I got closer to all my friends and bonded as a group. These people showed me what type of friends I want in my life and not to settle for less. We would all get up for the sunrise and have bible study on the beach which was so amazing. We would have long conversations about what God has done in our lives and what we are struggling with. We then would go to the beach all day and sit in the sun and burn to a crisp then surf in the beautiful water and play spike ball till we would leave. At the end of the day, we would walk around and go shopping and get ice cream and enjoy having no stress. Once we did that we would go back to the house and play cards and listen to music and build fires in the backyard and just talk all night and have such a great time. North Carolina weather was so nice every day we didn’t have one bad weather day. The beach was nice because the area we were in didn’t have too many people so it wasn’t overwhelming and we had the beach to ourselves. Near the end of the trip, we got all dressed up and went to a fancy dinner on the water and took pictures. The food was great and it was cool being able to be on the water and take amazing photos. Overall the beach trip was one of the best trips I’ve been on.
