In the fall of 2022, my father took my cousin and I to New York to see Harry Styles perform at Madison Square Garden. This was such a great trip because I have always loved New York and have wanted to visit it. We walked around the bustling city that I have always seen on TV and saw so many different characters on every street we went down. We stopped by Hamilton which is my favorite Broadway play so it was so cool because I’ve always wanted to see it live. My dad took us to a famous toy store that he went to as a little kid and it was so magical. The store was four stories high and had everything you could imagine. We then went up the Empire State Building and got to see such a beautiful view of the city, we also took funny photos pretending we were on one of the beams of the building. My dad took us to the Met which I was freaking out about because I’ve always wanted to go and I have such a love for art and got to see so many beautiful pieces from so many artists. We just walked all around for hours taking in such amazing creations of beauty. The day of the concert was the best. My cousin and I got to blast music in the hotel beforehand and get ready together. It was so fun and we got to bond even more because this was my cousin’s first-ever trip and her first concert just like mine. My dad and cousin and I got all dressed up and had an amazing dinner beforehand. When I got to the concert I was so star-struck I have always wanted to see Harry Styles perform. It was like an out-of-body experience. It was the best first concert ever. I was so grateful I got to share the moment with my father and cousin.
