In 2023 my mother and I drove to Georgia to pick up my little brother from his best friend’s house. This was the first time I drove for such a long time. It was a little nerve-racking. The trip was fun though because I got to bond with my mother on this road trip and when we got to Georgia Matthew my brother and his friend Mason took us around downtown to see the beautiful and booming city of Georgia. We ate at amazing restaurants and walked around and saw amazing sights and shops. When we drove to Mason’s house we went on his boat for the day, listened to music, and had a lunch day & tubing on the boat with all his friends. It was so much fun. The weather was amazing and Georgia was beautiful. In 2024 my mother and I took a mother-daughter spring break trip to Florida. It was so fun because I got to toast in the sun and relax while bonding with my mom and spending quality time together. We would spend the whole day at the beach with the amazing weather and then get dressed up to go to amazing restaurants and eat amazing food. Halfway through the trip, we drove down to visit family friends that we hadn’t seen in years. It was great to see them and catch up. We went on their boat for the day and reminisced about all the family trips we took with them. Then we met up with my friends and my mom’s best friend and got to eat food and hang out all day and just enjoy the time away from stress and the warm weather. We then would go sightseeing and look at what Florida has to offer. On the last day, my mother and I went to a super fancy restaurant, got all dressed up, and cherished the amazing time we had together as mother and daughter. This trip will always be one of my favorites in my heart because I got to spend quality time with my mom which I will never forget.
